and how do you stop your cat or dog from drinking this while YOU are
    sleeping ????

  4. Artemisia Gentileschi says:

Yes, this method does work: Borax, then Frontline. Be sure to dispose of
    your vacuum cleaner bag.

Thank you so much for this. I have vaccumed my apartment and sprayed Precor
2000 all over today and is still getting bit by fleas. I’m going to put
multiple plates of this under the coach, under my bead, and anywhere else
that needs it and see how it works. Again, thank you.

I saw an old guy do this years ago…except he had this out in the middle
of his living room, and he used a cooking pan instead (something like you
would boil spaghetti in)…and he also had a heat lamp pointed in the
direction of the pan with water (don’t grip the light to the pan
tho…mount it up higher). The idea is that flea’s are attracted to heat
(like an animal)…so the heat from the light will cause them to be
attracted like a magnet :-) So long you non swimming suckers….Muahahahaha

A night light in a lower wall outlet will also certainly tell you if you
have fleas. I love animals, but hate fleas, so I’ll leave them both to

Fun little fact about DAWN dish soap. when fleas come into contact with
DAWN dish soap they quite literally explode. So basically use dawn dish
soap in the water and also give your animals a flea bath using DAWN.

DragonsGait, Come on, seriously? The water level will begin evaporating
down, way lower in only 48 hrs, depending upon local humidity.

  18. Hunter Mann says:

Great idea! I put one under the bed, another tray under the couch, then
more on the floor, eventually I decided to up my success by tearing out my
carpeting and filling thew room with 3 inches of soapy water. The landlord
is furious, the downstairs neighbors are complaining about the water leak,
but the fleas are all dead!

  19. witch5884 says:

I just tried it, found 7 fleas after 2 min. My son complained about being
bitten after he got home to visit. We have 6 mini winnie dogs, I had to rip
up the living room carpets and refuse to replace until they are gone.

  20. hrtbrkr1965 says:

A tea light lit and sitting in the middle will attract the fleas!

  21. Robb's Homemade Life says:

the water is not an attractant, it is a method of killing them as they hop
    around the house or yard.

  22. Bee Gilbert says:

what attracts them to said pool of water? I feel like just water with soap
isn’t going to do the trick, then again I don’t know anything about fleas
    or how to catch them!

  23. Robb's Homemade Life says:

You know, we are all assuming, including me, that the fleas are drowning.
maybe there is something wrong with our drinking water, LOL

  24. Shane Wimer says:

I got this same idea after setting a glass of water on the floor and found
6 drowned fleas in about 2 hours.

  25. palmyrajo says:

Dragon, put a towel in the tray to soak up the water. Then wash the towel. :)
