give the dog a bath. palmolive work well. thorough suds up and rinse well.

Then sprinkle baking soda all over any carpet or rugs in the house and vacuum. you need to do the baking soda and vacuuming a few times.

time to give your doggie a bath

use any shampoo – make sure you make LOTS of bubbles
and they stay on her for 5 minutes

that will drown the pesky fleas!

    all the best

A good way to find out about fleas. If you find there are small, black flecks on your dog, take a few and put them on a wet paper towel. If they melt and turn red, it’s dried blood and called “flea dirt.” It’s basically the droppings left from fleas after they fed.

Once you’ve confirmed fleas, take your dog to a vet or go yourself and pick up a flea spot treatment from them. I use Revolution on my cats and within 24 hours the fleas were dying like crazy. They make it for both cats and dogs. Don’t buy generic store brands, they tend to be ineffective and have ingredients that could harm your pet.

To treat your house, spray any areas with whatever your vet recommends (they usually sell what they use for their areas). Keep your dog away from the sprays as they can be toxic. Vacuum like crazy and toss the bag immediately to keep fleas from escaping and re-infesting your home. Wash everything your pet has touched. Keep this up for a few weeks and your problem will be gone completely. Good luck!

Fleas are HORRIBLE!!! I hate them. I have had to deal with this problem so many times. Get some tick rid of stuff we use adventix for our dog or try revoloution or frontline plus any one will do . Give him a bath and go through some fur and try to get most of them out. Use flea killing dog shampoo. When dry follow instructons on the packet of tick rid stuff. Try do any of this as soon as possible.

    Home remedies;
I found some links on an all natural website. You can make some of the remedies at home and they are totally cheap to put together. I have used these remedies myself and they totally work. The best part is they are safe for our furry friends.

Or you can go to your local vet.

Frontline your dog, that will kill the fleas, you will have to put some kind of flea spray down on your carpets and floors. fleas lay eggs where it is warm ( under radiators, heaters etc) so hoover there and then spray.
It may take some time but they will go eventually.
if your dog has a basket or a bed make sure you wash the blankets from there.
    Good Luck!!!!

get your neighbour to report you to rspca and they’ll put a hose on your dog to wash off the fleas and then the rspca will sell them to a better family and you can just go buy them pretending your someone else.
goodluck in finding a good costume.

If your dog has fleas then she needs to go see the vet.. She need to take medicine for fleas and you should get this medicine that you put on the side of the neck to prevent fleas. By the way, you HAVE to give your dog bathes with dog shampoo and I hope you arent keeping her dirty outside ALL the time or MOST of the time. Do you know how to take care of her?

  9. Lisa K says:

The safest and cheapest method of getting rid of fleas is to use a mixture of boric acid and salt. The powder should be sprayed on carpets, bedding and areas frequented by your pet.
