Climbing Everest or finishing the Iditarod—which is more difficult?

In 1953 Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay accomplished what many people thought impossible — they scaled Mount Everest, the tallest mountain on Earth. Besides all of the things that would keep me from trying an Iditarod run, climbing Everest also involves avalanches, lack of oxygen, falls from peaks, and instant death.
