Frontline, Advantage, and Revolution are the best flea control for cats and dogs. Do NOT use anything from the grocery store- the company Hartz/Zodiac’s flea control has been linked to hundreds of animal’s deaths from the harsh chemicals they use.

I use Frontline. Also, you must apply it when the dog/cat is dry and it really is best to not bath them for a few days after giving them the medicine because any that says waterproof- doesn’t seem to be.

i have always used Advantage, from my Vet w/no problems.
just make sure its for the right size animal, and maybe not put the whole tube on them at first..see how they react to it.

  2. Jenn says:

Advantage is the best I have found for my animals, it is non toxic.

I find advantage to be far superior than any other brand of flea treatment. Been using it for at least 8 years, have never had any flea issues at all.

  4. BMTHESPIAN says:

I recommend Advantage. It is one of the safest topical treatments you can get. (It is the only one approved for ferrets, rabbits, pregnant/lactating females and very young animals who are both much more chemical sensitive.) It is also waterproof.

Revolution takes care of not only fleas, but heartworms and other parasites. You’ll knock a few out with one treatment.
